The Nissan Teana is a new executive sedan that is sure to turn heads. Despite the sedan’s long length, it had no flat body surfaces, making it competitive with rivals like Audi and Jaguar. The sleek design included a wide grille with horizontal slats, swept-back vertical headlights, a curved roof, a raked windshield and sloped D-pillars. One of the unique features of the Teana was the addition of a third row of windows in the rear.

The exterior of the new Teana is crafted with luxury and comfort in mind, featuring a sleek body line and chrome trim. It has a subtle signature grill in the front, xenon headlights that are seamlessly integrated into the grille, and curved wheel arches. The roofline slants gently down from the center, making the car look more spacious than many competitors. Another unique feature of the teana is its dual exhaust finisher and navigation system.

The Nissan Teana’s interior features leather upholstery and velour, and the cabin is wood-trimmed. Its long wheelbase and firm suspension provide better handling and stability. The car’s NVH level is excellent. Body roll, however, detracts from its handling, and its front suspension isn’t ideal for those who want to take their car on the road with gusto. Although the J31 is no longer in production, it is a badge-engineered version of the North American Altima.
